The Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry announced on December 25 that the Cabinet had approved a budget of 103.1 billion yen (AUD$1.25 billion) for the agency, an increase of roughly 1.1 billion yen (AUD$13 million) on the 2010 figure.</p>
