Дедлайн 10 июня, 2011.  Henkel Art.Award. 2011: Art Prize for Central
and Eastern Europe
In 2011, Vienna-based Henkel Central Eastern Europe (Henkel CEE)
announces - for the tenth straight year - its call for entries for the
Henkel Art.Award. covering Central and Eastern Europe. The partners for
this project are KulturKontakt Austria and the "Museum der Modernen
Kunst Stiftung Ludwig" (Museum of Modern Art - MUMOK) in Vienna. In
addition to the monetary prize of 7,000 euros and an exhibition in the
artist's native country, the prize winner of the Henkel Art.Award. also
benefits from the cooperation with MUMOK and thus the great opportunity
to display his or her works of art within the framework of an individual
exhibition in MUMOK held in the following year, accompanied by the
publication of an exhibition catalogue.

Without prescribing any pre-defined themes, the Henkel Art.Award.
bestows prizes for outstanding and innovative works of art created by
fine artists in Central and Eastern Europe in the fields of painting,
drawing, photography, video and installation. The winner is chosen from
the submitted entries within the context of a multi-phased selection
process.

Numerous Henkel Art.Award. finalists or winners in recent years were
subsequently invited to international exhibitions and have enjoyed
international success. These include Dan Perjovschi (2002), Miha
Strukelj (2008) and Mladen Miljanovic (2009).
