SIN NOTICIAS DE ISLANDIA
Si alguien cree que no hay censura en la actualidad, que me diga si así como se ha sabido todo lo que pasa en Egipto, por qué los periódicos no han dicho nada sobre lo que pasa en Islandia :
En Islandia, el pueblo ha hecho dimitir a un gobierno al completo, se nacionalizaron los principales bancos, se decidió no pagar la deuda que estos han creado con Gran Bretaña y Holanda a causa de su mala política financiera y se acaba de crear una asamblea popular para reescribir su constitución.
Y todo ello de forma pacífica. Toda una revolución contra el poder que nos ha conducido hasta la crisis actual.
He aquí, por qué no se han dado a conocer hechos durante dos años :
¿Qué pasaría si el resto de ciudadanos europeos tomaran ejemplo?
Esta es, brevemente, la historia de los hechos:
2008. Se nacionaliza el principal banco del país. La moneda se desploma, la bolsa suspende su actividad. El país está en bancarrota.
2009. Las protestas ciudadanas frente al parlamento logran que se convoquen elecciones anticipadas y provocan la dimisión del Primer Ministro, y de todo su gobierno en bloque. Continúa la pésima situación económica del país.
Mediante una ley se propone la devolución de la deuda a GB y Holanda mediante el pago de 3.500 millones de euros, suma que pagarán todos las familias islandesas mensualmente durante los próximos 15 años al 5,5% de interés.
2010. La gente se vuelve a echar a la calle y solicita someter la ley a referéndum.
En enero de 2010 el Presidente, se niega a ratificarla y anuncia que habrá consulta popular.
En marzo se celebra el referéndum y el NO al pago de la deuda arrasa con un 93% de los votos.
A todo esto, el gobierno ha iniciado una investigación para dirimir jurídicamente las responsabilidades de la crisis. Comienzan las detenciones de varios banqueros y altos ejecutivos. La Interpol dicta una orden, y todos los banqueros implicados, abandonan el país.
En este contexto de crisis, se elige una asamblea para redactar una nueva constitución que recoja las lecciones aprendidas de la crisis y que sustituya a la actual, una copia de la constitución danesa.
Para ello, se recurre directamente al pueblo soberano. Se eligen 25 ciudadanos sin filiación política de los 522 que se han presentado a las candidaturas, para lo cual sólo era necesario ser mayor de edad y tener el apoyo de 30 personas.
La asamblea constitucional comenzará su trabajo en febrero de 2011 y presentará un proyecto de carta magna a partir de las recomendaciones consensuadas en distintas asambleas que se celebrarán por todo el país.
Deberá ser aprobada por el actual Parlamento y por el que se constituya tras las próximas elecciones legislativas.
Esta es la breve historia de la Revolución Islandesa: dimisión de todo un gobierno en bloque, nacionalización de la banca, referéndum para que el pueblo decida sobre las decisiones económicas trascendentales, encarcelación de responsables de la crisis y reescritura de la constitución por los ciudadanos.
¿Se nos ha hablado de esto en los medios de comunicación europeos?
¿Se ha comentado en las tertulias políticas radiofónicas?
¿Se han visto imágenes de los hechos por la TV? Claro que no.
El pueblo islandés ha sabido dar una lección a toda Europa, plantándole cara al sistema y dando una lección de democracia al resto del mundo.

WHAT DON’T WE KNOW ABOUT ICELAND?
If someone believes that
there is no censorship just because he knew everything about Egypt, let us
know if he also knew about Iceland!
In Iceland the population
succeeded to receive the resignations from the whole government, the
principals banks have been nationalized, the people decide to don’t pay the debt
that the country had with Great Britain and Oland, because of the bed
financial policy, and have been just created a popular assembly to review and
rewrite the constitution.
Everything have been done
through a no violent revolution.
Why do you think nobody
spoke about it in Europe during the last 2 years? What could happen if the
rest of the european population would do the same?
Here you are, briefly, the recent
Iceland’s history:
2008. The biggest bank of the country have been nationalized. The currency
collapsed and the market suspended its activity. The country
had a bankrupt.
2009. The protests against
the parliament called the early elections. The Prime Minister gave the resignations
together with the whole government. The economic situation was still bed.
With a new low the politicians proposed to solve the debt with GB and Oland
paying 3.500 millions of euros, money that all Iceland’s families should monthly
pay during 15 year at an interest rate of 5,5%.
2010. The people start to demonstrate
again in the street asking to have a referendum about the new low. Trough the
referendum the population decide to don’t pay the debt with a majority of the
93%.
After this the government started
an investigation to find the causes and the liables of the crisis. Many
bankers and legals have been arrested. The Interpol forced all the people
involved in the crises to leave the country.
After this have been
organized an assembly to review the constitution. They assembly was made of 25 citizens without any political affiliations,
elected between 522 candidates. To be a candidate you just have to be over 18
ad have the support of minimum 30 persons.
The assembly started to work
on February 2011. The changes the assembly will decide about the constitution will have to be approved by
the Parliament.
This was the briefly story
of Iceland’s revolution: resignations of the government, nationalizations of
the banks, referendum to let decide the population about the economy,
incarcerations of the people involved in the crises end review of the
constitution by the citizens.
Did anyone speak about this
through the European medias? Did anyone debated about it in the radios? Did
we see any images about it in the TV? The answer
in negative.
The Iceland’s population gave
a lesson to the whole Europe, giving a lesson of democracy also to the rest
of the world.
