*
 > 15.00- 15.45. Keiko SEI: Politikai felfordul?s ?s diz?jn -- Thaif?ld
mint esettanulm?ny*
Az ?j ?vezred els? ?vtizede Thaif?ld?n a politikai instabilit?s idej?t
hozta el. T?ntet?sek sorozat?t ?s egy katonai puccsot k?vet?en
lev?ltott?k az egykori iparm?gn?s minisztereln?k?t. Az orsz?g k?t r?szre
bomlott: a s?rga /soksz?n? ?s a piros trik?sok t?bora ?llt szemben
egym?ssal. E visz?ly k?zepette a birodalom egyre hevesebb politikai
manipul?ci?k ?s man?verek ?ldozat?sul esett. Az ez id? alatt felvir?gz?
politikai diz?jn - t?kr?zve mindk?t t?bor jellegzetess?geit -, hozz?
tudott j?rulni a civil megmozdul?sok sikeress?g?hez, mik?zben az
oszt?lyt?rsadalmak komplex szerkezet?t is megjelen?tette. Keiko Sei
el?ad?s?ban a thaif?ldi politikai diz?jn k?zelm?ltbeli p?ld?it veszi sorra.

*> 15.50 - 16.35. Sethu DAS: Szoci?lis ?s politikai v?ltoz?sok a
diz?jnon kereszt?l *
A Design & People kollekt?va a h?tr?nyos helyzetben --- politikai,
k?rnyezeti ?rtalmak k?zt, h?bor? s?jtotta ter?leteken, k?l?nb?z?
fogyat?kkal --- ?l?k megseg?t?s?re ir?nyul?, v?get nem ?r? k?zdelmekhez
k?v?n a diz?jn ?ltal hozz?j?rulni. A grafikusokat, ipari tervez?ket ?s
?p?t?szeket t?m?r?t? szervezet szakmai tapasztalat?val ?s k?pess?g?vel
szoci?lis ?s civil ?gyeket szolg?l. Misszi?ja: diz?jnt a r?szorul?knak!

*> 16.40 -- 17.25. Yvonne P. DORERER: Hogyan ne vegy?k ki kez?nkb?l az
?nkorm?nyz?s lehet?s?g?t*
A Stuttgart 21 elnevez?s? vas?tfejleszt?si ?s ingatlanbefektet?si
projekt k?r?l kialakult konfliktusok ?s az ennek nyom?n form?l?d?
ellen?ll?si mozgalom a /RE-DESIGNING THE EAST Political Design in Asia
and Europe/ ki?ll?t?s ?j fejezet?t nyitotta meg (W?rttembergischer
Kunstverein, Stuttgart; 2010. szeptember 25. -- 2011. janu?r 2.). Az
el?ad?s sor?n a /Hogyan ne vegy?k ki kez?nkb?l az ?nkorm?nyz?s
lehet?s?g?t/ c?m?, Michel Foucault korm?nyz?s-elm?let?re utal? projekt
ker?l bemutat?sra.

 > 15.00- 15.45 Keiko SEI: Political turmoil and Design - The Case
Thailand *
The new millennium has been the decade of political instability in
Thailand. A business tycoon-turned Prime Minister was ousted after a
series of rallies and the coup. The country has been divided into two
camps that are known as yellow/multi-color shirts and red shirts. In
this division the monarchy has been used for political manipulation and
maneuver which is becoming more and more intense. Political design has
flourished during this period, reflecting on characteristics of both
camps, contributing to empower citizens' movement, while swimming
through the complex web of class society. Keiko Sei is going to present
the recent examples of political design in Thailand.

*> 15.50 - 16.35 Sethu DAS: Social and Political Change Through Design*
*Design & People* identify how design can intervene to make a
contribution to the on-going efforts to improve the lives of people
disadvantaged by war, disability, and political and environmental
conditions. We unite and encourage graphic, industrial and architectural
designers to use their experience and skills in social and humanitarian
projects. *Mission: Design For People In Need.*

*> 16.40 -- 17.25 Yvonne P. DORERER: The Art of Not Being Governed Like
That*
The conflicts about the railway and real estate project Stuttgart 21 and
the formation of a resistance movement against this project have been
the starting point to develop a new section within the exhibition
RE-DESIGNING THE EAST Political Design in Asia and Europe by the
W?rttembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart shown from September 25, 2010 to
January 2, 2011. This section The Art of Not Being Governed Like That,
refering in its title to Michel Foucault, will be introduced and
discussed in this presentation.

continued in the frame of our workshop organized between 27th-29th
February, 2012.
