We are happy to announce that calls for Up to 10,000 bucks & workshops
within Cinema City Campus programme are opened!

 The Cinema City Festival, which is held from August 26 to September 1, 2013
in Novi Sad, is officially openning its call for "Up to 10,000 bucks"
selection. This is the competition selection that presents films shot with a
budget of less than 10,000 dollars, and authors who had enough courage and
creativity to make it happen. The call will be open until June 1, and anyone
wishing to apply can do so by filling out a form found on the website of the
Festival www.cinemacity.org/upto10000/.

"Up to 10,000 selection" is one of the most captivating selections of the
Cinema City festival. Every year it discovers new talents and gives them the
opportunity to assert themselves in the film industry. Programme selecor is
Maja Miloš, director of "Klip", the winner of last year's Cinema City Grand
Prix for the best domestic film. The films that are applying cannot be shot
before 2011. All film genres are welcome - short films, documentaries,
animated films, feature films, etc. 

"Up to 10,000 bucks" selection has so far presented authors from Serbia,
Italy, Croatia, Spain, Hungary, Holland, Israel, Germany, the USA, New
Zealand and many other countries. Last year IBIS award for the best film was
won by Srđan Keča for "Mirage". As is tradition, this ensured him a seat
among jurors for 2013.

Within the Cinema City Campus programme, which is dedicated to young film
professionals and students, young talents will also be able to apply to
Cinema City Campus workshops as of Monday, May 13. Thus they will
participate in outstanding master classses, adopt the latest theoretical and
practical knowledge and skills from the world of film.

At Fresh Danube Films workshop, which is supported by the European Cultural
<http://www.culturalfoundation.eu/> Foundation, twenty students and young
filmmakers from the countries belonging to the Danube region will get a
chance to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge from some of the most
renowned film authors from that region. 

The Film it LouD workshop wil be held by eminent European lecturers and will
see twenty chosen young authors from Croatia and Serbia, who will later have
an opportunity to work side by side in creating a documentary. This workshop
is supported by the IPA cross-border  <http://www.croatia-serbia.com/%29>
cooperation programme Croatia - Serbia, and co-financed by the EU.

Anyone interested in participating in one of these workshops is to send a
motivational letter and their CV to office at cinemacity.org, while those
interested in aplying for "Up to 10 000 bucks" programme can do so by

Cinema City Campus is an educational platform that will not only provide the
opportunity of participating in Fresh Danube Films & Film it LouD workshops,
but will also become a gathering place for young film talents, a place where
they can promote themselves and make first steps in the creation of future
joint art projects.

radionice u okviru Cinema City Campus programa otvoreni!

Festival Cinema City, koji se održava od 26. avgusta do 1. septembra 2013. u
Novom Sadu, danas zvanično otvara konkurs za selekciju "Up to 10 000 bucks".
Selekcija je takmičarska, a predstaviće filmove snimljene budžetom manjim od
10.000 dolara i autore koji su bili dovoljno hrabri i kreativni da svoju
ideju sprovedu u film sa malo novca.  Konkurs će biti otvoren do 1. juna, a
svi koji žele da se prijave mogu to da učine putem formulara na sajtu
festivala www.cinemacity.org/upto10000/. 

 Selekcija "Up to 10 000 bucks " predstavlja jednu od najatraktivnijih
selekcija festivala Cinema City koja uz brojnu publiku, svake godine otkriva
nove talente i pruža im šansu za afirmisanje u filmskoj umetnosti.  Selektor
programa je Maja Miloš, rediteljka filma "Klip" koji je na prošlogodišnjem
Cinema City festivalu osvojio Grand Prix za najbolji domaći film. Filmovi
koji se prijavljuju za konkurs potrebno je da nisu snimljeni pre 2011.
godine, a sve vrste i žanrovi filmova - kratki, dokumentarni, animirani,
igrani, su dobrodošli.

 "Up to 10 000 bucks" selekcija predstavila je autore i filmove iz Srbije,
Italije, Hrvatske, Španije, Mađarske, Holandije, Izraela, Nemačke, Amerike,
Novog Zelanda i mnogih drugih. Nagradu IBIS za najbolji film prošle godine
osvojio je Srđan Keča za film  "Mirage" i time po tradiciji festivala postao
član žirija za 2013.  

 U okviru Cinema City Campus programa posvećenog mladim filmskim
profesionalcima i studentima, mladi talenti moći će, takođe od ponedeljka,
13. maja,  da se prijave na Cinema City Campus radionice i na taj način
učestvuju na odličnim masterklasovima, usvoje najnovija teorijska i
praktična saznanja i veštine u oblasti filma.

Na radionici Fresh Danube Films podržanoj od strane European Cultural
Foundation <http://www.culturalfoundation.eu/>  dvadeset studenata i mladih
filmskih autora iz zemalja Dunavskog regiona imaće priliku da steknu
teorijska i praktična znanja od nekih od najpriznatijih filmskih autora
pomenutog regiona. 

Na radionici  Film it LouD podržanoj od strane IPA prekograničnog programa
Hrvatska - Srbija <http://www.croatia-serbia.com/%29> , sufinansiranog od
strane EU, koju će održati eminentni evropski predavači, učestvovaće
dvadeset odabranih mladih filmskih autora iz Srbije i Hrvatske, koji će
potom imati priliku da učestvuju na zajedničkom stvaranju dokumentarnog
filma.

Svi zainteresovani za učešće na nekoj od pomenutih radionica Cinema City
Campusa treba da pošalju motivaciono pismo i svoju biografiju na
office at cinemacity.org, dok zainteresovani za učešće u programu Up to 10 000
bucks mogu se prijaviti popunjavanjem onlajn formulara na sajtu
cinemacity.org. 

Cinema City Campus, edukativna platforma, pored pružanja mogućnosti učešća
na radionicama Fresh Danube Films & Film it LouD, postaće kreativno mesto
promocije i okupljanja mladih filmskih talenata zarad budućih zajedničkih
umetničkih projekata.
