 The Deadline for this year’s N.I.C.E. Award 2014 under the motto
“Spillover Innovations” has been extended until *25 April 2014.*

Artists, cultural professionals and entrepreneurs, scientists, universities
as well as municipalities and regions have now 10 more days to submit their
applications.

The N.I.C.E. Award is addressed to everyone who works in the field of
culture and creativity, who produces culture or who promotes cultural
innovations: companies, creators, players in the creative economy, academic
institutions and researchers with a cultural interest as well as
institutions and corporations working in the field of cultural policy.

There is total price money of 5.000 Euro to win and a spot in the N.I.C.E.
exhibition opening on the evening before the Forum d’Avignon Ruhr 2014 on
10 June in Essen.

The N.I.C.E. Award 2014 is funded by the Ministry of Family, Children,
Youth, Culture and Sports of the State North Rhine-Westphalia.

Die Ausschreibung für den diesjährigen N.I.C.E. Award unter dem Motto
„Spillover Innovations“ geht auf vielfachen Wunsch über Ostern in die
Verlängerung.

Damit haben KünstlerInnen, Kulturschaffende und UnternehmerInnen aus der
Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft, WissenschaftlerInnen und Hochschulen sowie
Kommunen und Regionen haben noch 10 Tage Zeit sich für den N.I.C.E. Award
2014 zu bewerben.

Bewerben können sich die angesprochenen Akteure mit Kulturprojekten
(einschließlich der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft), kulturbezogenen
Forschungsvorhaben und kultur- und kreativwirtschaftspolitischen
Strategien, die eine überzeugende, innovative positive Wirkung in einen
Bereich außerhalb der Grenzen des kulturellen Kerngeschäfts darstellen
können.

Neben Preisgeldern in der Gesamthöhe von 5.000 Euro gibt es einen Platz in
der N.I.C.E. Ausstellung in Essen, die zum Forum d‘Avignon Ruhr am 10. Juni
eröffnet wird, zu gewinnen.

Der N.I.C.E. Award 2014 wird finanziell gefördert vom Ministerium für
Familie, Kinder, Jugend, Kultur und Sport des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen.
