Îmi place să contemplu
Privesc de jos în sus
La tine
Îmi imaginez parfumul tău
Îți gust cafeaua
E tare sau slabă
De la o distanță
Voyeur în orașul meu
Trecînd pe străzi
Am fost singură
În spatele pareților în interiorul bucătăriilor
Căutînd secrete
De negăsit
Lăsată fără foame
Gust al goliciunii

În lucrarea sa, Meldy Maria pune accent pe utilizarea narațiunii din  
propria experiență, conversațiile auzite întîmplător în stradă  
și fragmente recuperate din cărțile găsite, pentru a evidenția și  
parodia cu adevărat noțiunile romantice tradiționale.

Imagine your smell
Taste your coffee
Is it strong or weak
 From a distance
Voyeur in my city
Passing streets
Was I alone
Behind walls inside kitchens
Searching for secrets
Never to be found
Left without hunger
Taste of emptiness

In her work Meldy Maria focuses on the use of narrative from her  
personal experience, random conversations overheard in the street and  
found footage from books, to highlight, and indeed parody,  
traditionalistic romantic notions.
