Expoziția “Ochii străzii” este un proiect fotografic făcut de  
unul din cele mai marginalizate și vulnerabile grupuri din societate,  
oamenii fără adăpost. Proiectul are ca scop să dea valoare acestor  
oameni, oferindu-le oportunitatea să fie principalii actori ai  
acțiunii și nu obiecte ale acesteia. Fotografiile au fost luate cu  
camere de filmat de unică folosință, timp de cinci luni ei au  
fotografiat viața lor zilnică, arătînd spațiile, obiectele,  
oamenii și situațiile importante pentru ei, focusîndu-se pe umbrele  
chișinăului, unde ochii străzii sunt invizibili.

Alfonso Garcia Marcos e un asistent social profesional și tehnician.  
El are experiență lucrînd cu colectivitățile în situații de  
risc: populația romă, oameni fără adăpost, copii în situații de  
risc, oameni solitari, și o experiență aparte activînd în spații  
publice. El știe cît de important este statutul bunăstării  
încercînd să redea asta prin intermediul artelor vizuale.

The exhibition “Street eyes” is a photography project done by one  
of the most marginalized and vulnerable groups in the society, the  
homeless. This project aims to add value to these people, giving them  
the opportunity to be the main actors of the action and not the  
objects of it. The pictures were taken with disposable film cameras,  
during five months they have photographed their daily life, showing  
places, objects, people and situations that are important for them,  
shooting from the shadows of Chisinau, where the street eyes are  
invisible.

Alfonso Garcia Marcos is a social work professional and technician. He  
has working experience with collectives at risk: roma population,  
homeless, children at risk, recluse population and specific experience  
with activities and projects in public spaces. He knows how important  
is the welfare state, as well as show it through visual arts.
