*MEDIALAB: a free of charge contemporary arts educational project based in
Yerevan since 2007 has started a crowdfunding campaign

and develop the project further. *

MEDIALAB is It is a semester-long alternative educational program  run by
FOCUS art NGO. It consists of theoretical and practical workshops,
conducted by leading young professionals of the respective spheres,
supplemented and enriched by number of side events, such as workshops by
guest artists and experts, exhibitions, institutional visits, etc. It is an
open studio for artistic youth to develop individual projects, get free
consultancy and technical support, become a part of artistic network and
establish new collaborations in the field.

MEDIALAB offers courses and practices that are not available at the
Armenian universities and artistic schools, however, the added value of
MEDIALAB is in providing critical tools and theories, stimulating
analytical thinking thus developing younger generation of socially engaged
artists, intellectuals and cultural thinkers.
