Uus Maailm / Lumea Nouă este un film documentar eston, din 2011, despre Societatea Noii Lumi, o inițiativă a cetățenilor din Uus Maailm, Tallinn, care are ca scop să schimbe cartierele și să schimbe viața oamenilor.
Cum să creezi un spațiu urban viu? Cum să schimbi lumea / cartierul tău? Cum să aduci revoluția? Acesta urmează dinamicii revoluției încă de la început – patru ani în urmă. Vom vedea euforie, pasiune, compromis, frustrări, sentimente rănite și inimi frânte. Aceasta este anatomia unei revoluții.

Uus Maailm / The New World is a 2011 Estonian documentary film about New World Society, a citizens’ initiative in Uus Maailm, Tallinn, that aims to remake neighbourhoods and change people’s lives.
How to create an urban living space? How to change the world/your neighborhood? How to make the revolution?. It follows the dynamics of their revolution from the very beginning of it – four years ago. We see euphoria, passion, compromises, frustration, hurt feelings and broken hearts. It is the anatomy of one revolution.

About Jaan TOOTSEN [EE]:  born in 1975 is a director and screenwriter known for New World (2011). Directing several documentaries and compiled over 300 radio programs, he studied at the Tallinn University and working as a program editor at Estonian Radio and is a cultural advisor of the President of the Republic of Estonia. He was awarded the Young Cultural Figure Award of the Cultural Foundation of the President of the Republic of Estonia in 2010.
