Joi, 1 octombrie, între 19:00-20:30, va avea loc prezentarea „Artă și politică. Belarus 2020” cu participarea lui Elisabeth Kovtiak [BY]. Protestele din Belarus au provocat multiple reacții de ordin artistic. În cadrul acestei prezentări, cercetătoarea și activista culturală Elisabeth Kovtiak va vorbi despre principalele direcții ale artei critice și rolul acesteia în promovarea implicării politice în rândul publicului larg, dar și despre valoare terapeutică pe care o are exprimarea artistică pe timp de tumult. Ea va începe prin a prezenta situația artei critice contemporane din Belarus, pentru a explica contextul belarus. Introducerea va cuprinde avântul ce poate fi observat acum în arta politică. De asemenea, Elizabeth va vorbi despre structura scenei culturale din Belarus și va prezenta câteva lucrări de artă contemporană belarusă.

În cadrul acestei săptămâni se desfășoară două ateliere sub forma unui grup de discuții și unui atelier de lucru creativ.

Astfel, vă invităm marți, 29 septembrie, ora 17:00 la Zpațiu (Casa Zesmstvei, str. Al. Șciusev 103, Chișinău) să participați la seminarul „Cum să ai de a face cu un obiect de artă?”. Fiecare dintre cele 4 întâlniri / discuții de grup va folosi ca punct de pornire un obiect de artă. Vom aborda practica de abordare a unui obiect de artă, în calitate de un obiect comun pentru investigație în cadrul grupului de participanți. Vom analiza atât modul în care abordăm un obiect de artă, presupozițiile pe care le avem și spontaneitatea de care dăm dovadă în momentul întâlnirii cu el, și vom dezvolta, prin discuții critice, instrumente pentru a deveni capabili să vorbim în mod inteligent despre un obiect de artă cu care avem de a face pentru prima dată, într-un mod ancorat în însuși felul în care intrăm în contact cu el. Pentru a realiza acest lucru, în cadrul fiecărei întâlniri, vom, examina, împreună, moduri de a avea de a face cu obiecte de artă realizate în medii diferite, conectate prin tema comună a periferiei.

De asemenea, vă invităm să vizitați 3rd Space Studio, unde colectivul de artă Kolxoz vă propune să explorați tema colectivității prin artă. Pe lângă posibilitățile oferite de aparatul de fax, laboratorul epoxy și arhiva de publicații / cărți poștale ce pot să inspire, aici veți găsi ceai și atmosferă bună de lucru.

Participarea în cadrul tuturor activităților proiectului este gratuită. În viziunea noastră, accesul la Cultură și Educație, în calitate de bunuri comune, trebuie asigurat tuturor doritorilor, indiferent de statutul lor economic sau social.

Măsuri de prevenire a răspândirii virusului COVID19
Accesul la toate evenimentele se va face în baza prezentării unui act de identitate și completării Listei de evidență epidemiologică. Membrii publicului sunt rugați să poarte măști și să respecte regulile obligatorii de siguranță (distanțare de 1 m, verificarea temperaturii la intrare, se interzice consumul băuturilor alcoolice, alte cerințe posibile) pe parcursul întregului eveniment. Proiectul Edu-Art oferă tinerilor artişti, arhitecți și urbaniști, manageri culturali, curatori suport metodologic şi practic pentru a face față presiunii factorilor de ordin global (cerințele înalte de acces pe piața muncii și competitivitatea existentă în cîmpul artistic, migrația masivă pe plan internațional, precaritatea lucrului în domeniul culturii, pasivitate civică și lipsa de inițiativă etc.), ajutându-i să se integreze în contextul scenei culturale independente din Republica Moldova și să se realizeze pe plan internațional din punct de vedere profesional.

Proiectul este organizat în parteneriat cu mai multe instituții și organizații culturale, printre care facultățile de artă, asociațiile obștești active în sfera artei contemporane, inițiativele de activism cultural și civic din Moldova și din alte țări, desfășurându-se, de asemenea, în diverse spații culturale alternative, precum Zpațiu <https://zpatiu.wordpress.com/>, Apartamentul Deschis <http://chiosc.oberliht.com/apartament/>, Parcul Zaikin <https://parculzaikin.wordpress.com/>, Stadionul Republican <https://www.facebook.com/stadionulesterepublican/>, Cartierul Maria Drăgan <http://chiosc.oberliht.org/2018/07/11/paildcscmd/> din sectorul Ciocana și altor spații.

Proiectul Edu-Art 2020 este realizat cu aportul partenerilor și participanților implicați, beneficiind de  suportul financiar al Administraţiei Fondului Cultural Naţional (AFCN) din România, Centrului Ceh din București și Ambasadei Republicii Cehe din Chișinău. Acesta însă nu a fost susținut în cadrul concursului pentru proiecte culturale gestionat de Ministerul Educației, Culturii și Cercetării al RM.

On Thursday, October 1st, we invite you to the presentation ”Art and Politics. Belarus 2020” by researcher and cultural activist Elisabeth Kovtiak [BY]. Protests in Belarus provoked the creation of multiple artistic reactions. During this public talk, Elisabeth Kovtiak will discuss the main thematic directions of critical art and its role in promoting the political involvement of the general public, as well as the therapeutic value of artistic expressions during the turmoil. To explain the Belarusian context, she will start with a presentation on the state of critical contemporary art in Belarus. This introduction will frame the ongoing boom of political art. She will further elaborate on the structure of the cultural scene in Belarus and show several examples of Belarusian contemporary art.

In the frame of this week will take place two workshops. One of them in the format of a discussion group, and the other as a creative studio work.

Join us on Tuesday for the seminar „How to deal with an art object?” with Alex Cosmescu [MD]. The project will involve a series of group discussions, each of them using an art object as a starting point. We will approach the art object as a practice in itself and as an object for common investigation in the group of participants. We will investigate both the way in which we already approach art objects, the presuppositions we bring to this encounter, the spontaneous procedures that we use, and we will develop, through critical discussion, tools for being able to talk intelligently about a newly encountered art object in a way that is anchored in our actual encounter with it. In order to accomplish this, during each meeting, we will examine, together, ways of encountering art objects belonging to different media, brought together by the common topic of the periphery.

Also, we invite you to visit 3rd Space Studio where Kolxoz art collective proposes to explore collectivity through art. In addition to the available fax machine, epoxy lab and the archive of publications / postcards for inspiration, this place offers hot drinks and a good working atmosphere.

COVID19 safety measures
Access to all public events is based on the presentation of an identity card and upon signing the List of epidemiological evidence. Members of the public are asked to wear masks and respect the mandatory safety rules (a minimal distance of 1 m, check-up of the temperature, it is forbidden to consume alcoholic drinks, other possible requirements) throughout the entire event. The Edu-Art 2020 project aims to provide methodological and practical support to emerging artists that are facing undergoing transformations on a global scale (strong competition in the art field and higher requirements for accessing the labor market, lack of initiative and increasing precarious conditions for those active in the field of culture that can lead to change of profession or emigration of the artists, concentration of the resources in economically developed countries and hence the need to develop a dialogue with institutions and colleagues from abroad, etc.), facilitating their integration into the local independent culture scene and internationally.
