Invităm studenții, artiștii emergenți și toți cei interesați de artă
vizuală și design grafic să participe la un nou modul oferit în cadrul
programului de educație artistică *Edu-Art*

Leu [PL], artistul Szymon Szymankiewicz [PL], lucrătorul cultural Maxim
Polyakov [MD] și curatorul Vladimir Us [MD].
Atelierul se va desfășura pe parcursul la trei zile și va completa seria de
conferințe și întâlniri dedicate temei *Războaie culturale în vremuri de
polarizare*. În cadrul atelierului participanții vor beneficia de
îndrumarea lui Szymon Szymankiewicz

informații despre designul grafic și rolul lui în propaganda vizuală, în
concordanță cu tema anunțată. Totodată, participanții vor primi materialele
necesare pentru a-și realiza lucrările, care vor fi prezentate public în
cadrul programului *SCA2024 / Spații Culturale Alternative*

Pe parcursul sesiunilor vom promova o atitudine proactivă din partea
participanților, ne dorim ca atmosfera să fie relaxată și deschisă la
discuții, dezbateri sau idei noi, pentru a crea un dialog verbal și vizual.
Fiecare sesiune va avea o pauză pentru cafea, gustări, răcoritoare și o
șansă de a discuta cu ceilalți participanți într-o atmosferă relaxantă.

Szymon Szymankiewicz <https://www.instagram.com/szszymankiewicz/?hl=en> PhD
(născut în 1985 la Lodz) este absolvent și lector la Universitatea de Arte
Magdalena Abakanowicz din Poznan și designer grafic și de afișe. A primit
numeroase premii și distincții, iar lucrările sale au fost prezentate la
expoziții în zeci de țări din Europa, Asia, America de Nord și de Sud.
Szymankiewicz este unul dintre cei mai interesanți și cunoscuți creatori de
afișe din rândul tinerei generații de artiști polonezi. Lucrările sale sunt
caracterizate de un minimalism dur, de transformarea unor simboluri
cunoscute și de utilizarea unor culori reduse. Majoritatea lucrărilor sale
sunt lipsite de cuvinte, oferind astfel un mesaj universal. Artistul
abordează adesea subiecte socio-politice dificile și controversate, precum
fascismul, rasismul, antisemitismul, misoginismul sau homofobia, precum și
probleme precum abuzul de putere, violența autoritară împotriva cetățenilor
sau indiferența față de grupurile marginalizate de oameni sau fenomene.

Taxă de participare
Participarea la program este gratuită, pentru că credem că accesul la

We are inviting students, emerging artists and all those interested in
visual art and graphic design to participate in a new module offered within
the *Edu-Art* <https://arteduct.wordpress.com/edu-art-2024/> art education
program, facilitated by the researcher Rada Leu [PL], artist Szymon
Szymankiewicz [PL], cultural worker Maxim Polyakov [MD] and curator Vladimir
Us [MD].
The workshop will take place over three days and will complement the series
of conferences and meetings dedicated to the topic of *Culture wars in
polarizing times*. During the workshop, participants will be guided by Szymon
Szymankiewicz <https://www.instagram.com/szszymankiewicz/?hl=en>, who will
provide information on graphic design and its role in visual propaganda, in
line with the announced theme. At the same time, participants will receive
the necessary materials to realize their works, which will be publicly
presented within the *SCA2024 / Alternative Cultural Spaces* program.

During the sessions we will promote a proactive attitude from the
participants, we want the atmosphere to be relaxed and open to discussion,
debate or new ideas, in order to create a verbal and visual dialog. Each
session will have a break for coffee, snacks, refreshments and a chance to
chat with other participants in a relaxed atmosphere.

Szymon Szymankiewicz <https://www.instagram.com/szszymankiewicz/?hl=en> PhD
(born 1985 in Lodz) is a graduate and lecturer at the Magdalena Abakanowicz
University of the Arts Poznan, and a graphic and poster designer. He has
received numerous awards and prizes, and his work has been shown at
exhibitions in dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, North and South
America. Szymankiewicz is one of the most interesting and recognizable
poster designers among the young generation of Polish artists. His work is
characterized by stark minimalism, transforming well-known symbols, and the
use of pared-down colors. Most of his art is devoid of any words, therefore
offering a universal message. The artist often addresses difficult and
controversial socio-political topics, such as fascism, racism,
anti-semitism, misogyny or homophobia, and such problems as the abuse of
power, authoritarian violence against citizens, or indifference to
marginalized groups of people or phenomena.

Participation fee
Participation in the programme is free of charge, because we believe that
access to education should be provided to all who wish to participate,
