Crid' Art and the Casino of Amnéville join to organize the 1st
international symposium of monumental sculptures on the thermal site of
Amnéville.
The sculptures will have to be ludic and their artistic expressions will
have to be accessible to all public.

The Topic: Water.

Médiums: Limestone, wood, metal.

The symposium will begin on Monday May 28th , 2007 at 10 a.m and will end
on Sunday June 10th , at 7.p.m.

For reasons of organization, the selectionned artists will have to be
present imperatively on Sunday June, 27th at 5 p.m

Article 2 : Working conditions

The artists will work in spaces of external workshops, protected by
barriers, lit, arranged by the organizers, in the presence of the public.

The schedules of presence on the place of sculptures are from 10 a.m until
6p.m.

The symposium will take place whatever the weather is like. The creations
must imperatively be finished at the end of the demonstration and in
conformity with the models.

The sculptors will have at disposal a calcareous stone (maximum Volume:
2,3 m cubic) or wood (maximum height: 2,5 m) or metal (maximum height: 3
m) and the equipment requested (electricity, compressor, scaffolding...)
in agreement with the organizers.

The "disqueuses" are not authorized for the sculptors on stone.

Each sculptor must provide himself with his own material of work.

Article 3 : Conditions relating to the realization of the sculpture

The materials will be set up by the organisazers. The sculptures will be
in round bump:
stone and wood: maximum height: 2,5 meters.
Metal: maximum height: 3 meters

Article 4 : Financial conditions

Each sculptor will receive an allowance of 2000 euros (two thousand euros)
at the end of the symposium.

An invoice will be requested from each artist sculptor.

Lodging and the meals will be dealt with by the organizers from May 27th,
at 5 p.m until June 10th , at 7 p.m.

Travelling expenses one-way ticket and return will be dealt with by the
organizers on document in proof.

No other compensation could be claimed.

The expenses caused by the people who will accompany the artist will not
be dealt with by the organizers.

Article 5 : Legal conditions

All the produced sculptures will be the property of the organizers.

The Steering Committee and the owners of the places do not assure the
sculptors (accident and material). Each artist must provide a certificate
insurance and all documents ensuring us his social protection. The artist
works on his site under his own responsibility and takes care of the
safety of his entourage.

Article 6 : Mediatization of the event

The mediatization of the event will be ensured by the sending of press
kit: written press, televisual, radio, general or specialized, at the
local, national and international level.

General public, the companies and the local communities will be mobilized
by the production of posters, and invitations produced for the event.

The whole of the demonstration will be communicated on Internet site of
the symposium and Crid' Art.

At the end of the symposium, a file press will be produced, testifying to
this demonstration.

Article 7 : Exposure

During the symposium, an exposure sale will take place at Crid' Art. Each
artist will be able to deposit 5 sculptures at the gallery. The commercial
margin is 50%.

Article 8 : Selection of the artists

The number of sculptors is limited to 15. A jury made up of professionals
of Art and sculpture will select the artists with the sight of their
candidates' file and relevance of the project suggested with the topic :
Water.

The decision of the jury will be undeniable.

The artists selected for the symposium will be informed of their admission
by diffusion on Internet site of the symposium on December 18th , 2006.

Then, they will have to confirm their participation and to send a cheque
of guarantee of 1000 euros as well as a certificate of civil liability.
The cheque will not be cashed and will be returned completely after the
symposium.

In the event of confirmation and of absenteeism to the symposium, this
cheque will be cashed in order to cover the expenses to cause by this
absence.

latest Wednesday Décember 13th , 2006 to the address of CRIDART.
