CALL FOR SUBMISSION
balkan black box 2008/ Performing Arts Section

balkan black box is a Berlin based festival featuring current works of
visual, performing and fine artists from South East Europe. The festival
has been taking place since 1999, each year with a different discursive
theme (see www.balkanblackbox.de > ideja).

To develop the festival programme in the performing arts section of the
festival in 2008 we are calling for proposals from performing artists and
groups throughout South East Europe. Proposed could be works produced not
before 2005 or presentations of works in progress which will be produced
until end of 2007. Selected contributions will be included in the funding
applications for the festival.

Interested choreographers, performers, video and interdisciplinary
artists, who would like to apply, please send in:
-          current CV’s of participants
-          concept /description of the work
-          video or DVD of full length performance or work in progress
-          press review (if existing)

Proposals should reach us until 10th of march 2007. Please send them to:
