Summer Dance Workshop in Pula – Call for entries


Liberdance Dance Company has been organizing ‘Summer Dance Workshop’ in
Pula in cooperation with Istria National Theatre and International Youth
Theatre Festival (MKFM) since 1998. In 2007 they will bring the following
choreographers: Renate Graziadei and Arthur Stäldi, Ińaki Azpillaga
and Jorge Vazquez.

The workshops host theatre and dance teachers and choreographers from
Croatia and from abroad. So far some well known dance teachers have
participated in the Festival, for example Marco Luly from Italy, Katsura
Kan from Japan, John Nobbs and Jacqui Caroll from Australia, Gabriel
Castillo from Great Britain, Nienke Reehorst and Keren Levi from the
Netherlands, Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola from Germany and Jorge
Vazquez from the USA.

The 10th Jubilee Dance Workshop will start with the new teachers that are
coming to the International Youth Theatre Festival for the first time.
They are: Renate Graziadei and Arthur Stäldi (LaborGras Collective -
Berlin), well-known teachers on many academies and in many dance companies
(Sasha Waltz, Folkwang Hochschule, P.A.R.T.S. Brussels), and Ińaki
Azpillaga, a well-known dancer and choreographer (Ultima Vez, Need Co.,
and Charleroi / Danses in Brussels). And, of course, finally, our good
acquaintance for the lovers of jazz and modern dance techniques Jorge
Vazquez.

We are convinced that our choice will be a good enough reason to see you
and hang out together this year as well.

10% discount for the participants who attend two workshops

Considering the fact that the number of participants is limited, we kindly
ask the interested participants to apply for the workshop as soon as
possible.

Price in private apartments is 15 EUR per person per day.
Sojourn tax is included in the price.
