"How To Say It "

What?
The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate (c/o Gulliver Clearing House
Foundation) announces a call for participants in How To Say It - a six day
workshop for young professional screenwriters and producers from Central
Europe and the Balkans. The workshop is organized by The Red House, after
an idea by Ivan Doykov and Mira Staleva.
When?
It will be held from June 18 to June 23, 2007 at The Red House in Sofia,
Bulgaria.
Participants should be from Balkan/Central European MEDIA member countries
(Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia). The workshop
is also opened for a limited number of participants from Albania, Bosnia &
Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey. The
participants should have at least one project for a short or feature film
realized or in a phase of development.
A limited number of scholarships is available.
The working language of the workshop is English.
Required documents: application form (incl. CV, motivation letter,
recommendation letter), sample(s) of previous work(s). Applications and
text samples should be sent preferably by e-mail, samples on DVD/CD/VHS –
by ordinary mail.
The call for applicants from Bulgaria is already closed.
The deadline for non-Bulgarian applicants has been prolonged to Friday,
May 11, 2007.
The project is supported by MEDIA + Programme of the EU.
