Global Arts Village Fellowships

The Global Village, an emerging international multi-cultural residential
art centre located in New Delhi, India in announcing a call for
applications for fellowships that is to start in August 2007. The centre
is unique because it combines artist residencies with Indian traditions
such as yoga and meditation in a village community setting. Programmes are
based on the ancient Indian principle of Satyam, Shivam, Sundram.

Creative people of all types including fine artists and craftspeople,
designers, architects, writers, art administrators, curators, social
development volunteers, researchers and healing art therapists can apply
for full or partial fellowships or full fee residency programmes. All
fellowships include furnished room, three vegetarian meals per day,
self-service laundry facilities, studio or workspace, welcome celebration,
work presentation and group exhibition opportunity and other benefits
depending on the fellowship programme.

The 60-day Autumn Fellowships for 2007 begin on 3 August and last until 1
October 2007. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 July 2007.
