Call for INDUSTRIAL DESIGN: EUROPE 40 UNDER 40 >> deadline 01/10/07

The european centre for architecture, art, design and urban studies and
the chicago athenaeum: museum of architecture and design, present europe
40 under 40, call for 2008 nominations of young european designers
Europe 40 Under 40® is an annual awards program that celebrates the next
new talented generation of European industrial designers.
Industrial designers under the age of 40 (as of October 1, 2007) are
invited to submit products (manufactured or in production) to be judged by
a panel of distinguished industrial designers, manufacturers, design
journalists, educators, and critics.

In addition to the 27 European Union member countries, architects from the
following European nations are invited to participate: Norway,
Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, Liechtenstein, Albania, Monaco, Andorra,
Serbia, Montenegro, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Moldavia,
Belarus, Azerbaijan, Canary Islands, Faeroe Islands, San Marino, and
Iceland.

Deadline: 1st October 2007
