The Competition is aimed at emerging choreographers and the purpose is to
find and develop new, professional talents within contemporary dance.

Dear friends and contacts,

I'm happy to announce that we today have opened the website -
http://www.aicc.dk - for the first Aarhus International Choreography
Competition (AICC) from 12th to 14th of June 2008.

The Competition is aimed at emerging choreographers and the purpose is to
find and develop new, professional talents within contemporary dance. The
competition also offers the participants the opportunity to create new
networks with other groups of dancers and choreographers.

The brand new choreographic centre Archauz ® is hosting the competition.
Archauz ® is the first centre of its kind in the Nordic countries and has
its home in the centre of Aarhus, the second City in Denmark. Archauz ® is
a vibrant centre for dance and is a host for the cutting edge contemporary
dance.

Application deadline for AICC is Monday the 11th of February 2008.
