"Developing Fundraising skills" seminar is aimed at participants who are
interested
in developing income from institutional donors, but have had partial
knowledge and success
in doing so yet. The fundraising proposal communicates the needs of the
organisation to its
potential supporters. And it is largely on the basis of the written
proposal that many funders
will decide whether or not to make a grant.  Even though every funder has
own criteria, same
basic approach applies when approaching any grant-making body, whether
central government,
a local authority, a trust or a company.

This seminar will focus on the process you need to go though to structure
and write a successful
grant application. Regardless the funder; government, trust and foundation
donors may have
different guidelines and approaches, seminar is focusing on what makes a
proposal a good proposal
to any kind of institutional donor. At the end of the program participants
will understand how to
write a successful grant application, and where they need to focus to
increase the ‘hit‘ rate of
their grant applications.
