Festivals in Europe – calls for papers

The European Festival Research Project consortium (EFRP), which has since
2005 carried out research on European festivals, has planned two research
workshops in 2008. A workshop on 'The urban impact of artistic festivals'
will take place in Helsinki on 11-12 April. The second workshop will deal
with 'Festivals of theatre for children and youth' and will be organised
in Moscow on 31 October – 1 November. Calls for papers for both workshops
have been launched, with deadlines of 25 February for the Helsinki event
and 15 May for Moscow. Candidates should send abstracts of their
presentations, of 100-150 words.
