We are pleased to announce an opportunities for younger artists seeking a
workspace in Cairo:

The Rooftop Studio Project presents a communal studio space for artists
located in the Garden City neighborhood. The 750 square meter space has
eight rooms as well as two communal work areas; there are outdoor, indoor,
and individual workspaces within. The studio can accommodate artists
working in mediums ranging from painting and installation to photography
and video. Residents will have access to the space and its facilities for
only 100LE/month.

Applications are available at Townhouse Gallery. For those who are
interested, applications are to be submitted by hand to the office at
Townhouse (10 Nabrawy Street, off Champollion Street, Downtown from 10:00
am till 6:00 pm) or emailed to essam la thetownhousegallery.com before
February 4th, 2009.

Applicants will subsequently be contacted for interviews before the final
selection process.
