European Commission – support to cultural cooperation projects with third
countries

The European Commission Culture Programme (2007-13) includes a strand
aimed at fostering European cooperation projects in ‘third countries’. The
focus for 2009 is the EU Neighbourhood, including Armenia, Belarus, Egypt,
Georgia, Jordan, Moldova, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and
Tunisia. Projects should relate to the objectives of the Culture
Programme, which are: intercultural dialogue, mobility of artists and
cultural players, and circulation of works.
The deadline for submitting applications is 1 May 2009.
