Spielplatz:Playground is a cooperation and networking project in the field of the performings arts for childern and teenagers. It addresses young artists and cultural managers from the mentioned
European region with an interest and/or experience in youth projects.
The aim is to enable an experience exchange, as well as the development
of projects encouraging the participation of the young audience from
their countries in the performing arts.

The project is organized by a group of young cultural managers from Central and Eastern Europe in cooperation with tanzhaus nrw (Düsseldorf) and will take place in Düsseldorf between 29th May - 7th June 2009. 



“Spielplatz: Playground“ is comprising two parts running in parallel:

The Laboratory - 29th May - 7th June 2009
The participants are 7 selected young professionals in the field of dance, theater, stage direction, choreography, music and pedagogy from the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Lithuania. During the Lab they will experiment on the making of performances for a young audience with the assistance of experienced professionals. The results of their "work in progress" will be presented in an open showing.



Open Space Meeting - 4th - 6th June 2009
A group of young cultural managers from Albania, Republic of Moldova, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania will discuss the organization and presentation of contemporary performances for a young audience in the Central and Eastern European context.



As a result of these encounters a network will be created with the participants, so they can support each other during the implementation of the project ideas launched in Düsseldorf, as well as in their future actions as multipliers in their own countries.

Spielplatz:Playground ist ein Kooperations- und Vernetzungsprojekt im Bereich der darstellenden Künste für Kinder und Jugendliche, das  junge mittel- und
osteuropäische Künstler und Kulturmanager mit Interesse und/oder
Erfahrung in Jugendprojekten zusammenbringen soll. Ziel ist dabei den Austausch von Erfahrungen und Projektideen zur Unterstützung der
Beteiligung eines jungen Publikums an den darstellenden Künsten in den
eigenen Ländern der Teilnehmer.

Das Projekt wird von einer Gruppe junger KulturmanagerInnen aus Mittel- und Osteuropa in Zusammenarbeit mit tanzhaus nrw (Düsseldorf) zwischen dem  29. Mai - 7. Juni 2009 in Düsseldorf organisiert. 



„Spielplatz:Playground“ besteht aus zwei parallel laufenden Teilen:

Die Teilnehmer sind ausgewählten jungen
Fachleuten in den Bereichen Tanz, Theater, Theaterregie, Choreographie,
Musik und Pädagogikaus der Republik Moldau, Bulgarien, Rumänien, SIowenien und Litauen. Sie werden das Schaffen einer
Performance mit Hilfe von erfahrenen Fachleuten for Ort experimentieren und die Ergebnisse frei vorstellen.

Open-Space-Treffen - 4.
- 6. Juni 2009
Eine Gruppe junger
Kulturmanagerinnen aus Albanien, aus der Republik
Moldau, Litauen, Ungarn und Rumänien werden sich mit der Vermittlung
zeitgenössischer Vorstellungen für ein junges Publikum im mittel- und
osteuropäischen Kontext auseinandersetzen.

Zufolge der Begegnungen wird ein
Netzwerk zur Unterstützung der Teilnehmer bei der Durchführung ihrer in
Düsseldorf initiierten Projektideen und bei ihren weiteren Aktionen als
Multiplikatoren in den eigenen Ländern gebaut.
