Supliment Oberliht in #13SdU (Mai 2009)

In numarul 13 al revistei SdU, supliment Oberliht, puteti afla mai multe
despre lucrarea Flat Space/ Spatiu Deschis conceputa in cadrul proiectului
CHIOSC, care este in proces de a fi construita si care deja a reusit sa
trezeasca multa curiozitate. Este Flat Space/Spatiu Deschis un element
architectural, o sculptura, sau o instalatie publica? – e intrebarea pe
care si-o pun cei ce au aflat despre acest proiect de arta contemporana al
carui autor este Stefan RUSU. Flat Space este proiectat dupa “alura”
unui  apartament obisnuit caruia ii lipseste un singur element: peretii! De
ce autorul a ales anume aceasta forma? Care a fost punctul sau de plecare?
Si ce vrea sa comunice prin acest modul? Raspunsurile lui Stefan RUSU la
aceste intrebari le puteti citi in Suplimentul Oberliht al SdU 13.

Flat Space/Spatiu Deschis se va manifesta ca un teren dedicat evenimentelor
de arta contemporana pentru publicul larg si asta in pofida faptului ca
destul de multa lume sta incuiata in apartamente-cutii si sunt tot mai mult
alienati de la viata, de la activitatea lor, de energiile interne, si in
final ramin vidati de creativitate, care poate fi intrerupta/declansata
printr-o rupere sau deschidere catre exterior, in afara spatiului inchis,
dominat de rutina si lipsa de comunicare.

Incepind cu decembrie 2007 Asociatia Oberliht editeaza suplimentul
Oberliht, un spatiu de 4 pagini A3 dedicat artei si culturii contemporane
din Moldova, care apare impreuna cu revista SdU (stare de urgenta):

Oberliht Supplement in #13SoE (May 2009)

In the 13th issue of State of Emergency (SoE) magazine, Oberliht
supplement, you can learn more about the Flat Space conceived in the frame
of CHIOSC project, which is currently being built and has already
determined a lot of couriosity from many people. Is the Flat Space an
architectural element, a sculpture, or a public installation?, are few
questions raised by the persons who already know about this contemporary
art work by Stefan RUSU. “The project was conceived as a functional
replica of a flat and includes the basic elements of a social type of
habitat”, it misses just one element: the external wall! Why did the
author choose this form? What was his starting point and what does this
module tell to us? You can find the answers of Stefan RUSU in Oberliht
supplement of (SoE magazine) 13.

Flat Space will function as a site for contemporary art events addressed to
the general public, despite the fact that many people lock themselves
inside of their “flats and boxes”, which fact alienates them even more
from life, from activity, from their own internal energies. Ultimately they
end up emptied of creativity, which can be switched on/off by a
break-through or opening to the exterior, outside of an enclosed space
dominated by routine and lack of communication.

Starting with December 2007 Oberliht Association edits the Oberliht
supplement, a space of 4 pages A3 dedicated to contemporary art and culture
from Moldova. It is released together with the SoE magazine:
