Interdiscipinary Residency Project - Call for Proposal

for dancers, performers, choreographers, directors, musicians, composers,
visua artists, videomakers, Vjs, DJs, designers, programmers ...

DiDstudio - center of search, production and development of dance in
relation to digital technologies, headquarter of the Association Ariella
Vidach - AiEP in Milan - selects projects by young artists for a
productive residency.
The authors of the selected projects (performance, installation, concert,
video
) will be hosted at the DiDstudio for a maximum of 12 days (not
consecutive) in the months of January/February 2010 and will be able to
use technical equipments (lights, audio, video, computers). Moreover,
there will be technical-artistic professionals cooperating with the
artists to produce their project. The works will be presented during the
DiD Project at the end of February 2010.

CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

►The project must be presented sending by mail the following
documentation:
- application form duly filled
- paper documentation/dossier about the project (as required in the
application form)
- DVD video about the project and/or previous works

►A copy of the application form and of the dossier must be sent also
via email

►The first deadline to send the material is January 16th 2009. Later
deadlines will be published.
Project with incomplete documentation, sent after the deadline or sent
only via mail will not be considered

►The documentation must be sent to the address below.

► Organization covers accommodation costs. Travel costs will be
partially or totally refunded according to availability.

►Organization will answer via email about the result of the
selection in a few days after the deadline.

►The documentation will not be given back and will be included in
the archive of the residency.

►Participation is open to artists (or groups) of any nationalities,
born not before January 1st 1973.
