Audio Workshop ‘Sample & Hold’ – de:sonanz Festival Skopje

The Festival of electronic music and media art de:sonanz is hosting the
audio workshop ‘Sample&Hold’ in Skopje from 29.September till 2.October,
with the German musician and producer  Schneider TM aka Dirk Dresselhaus.
The call is open for experienced artists from South Eastern Europe.
Application deadline: 10. July.

The basic idea of the workshop is composing and producing tracks and
sound-collages based on electronic / digitaly arranged field recordings.
In the first days of the workshop the participants will make field
recordings in the region of Skopje.

The recorded sounds will be used to create a music piece and a small
live-setup that will be presented live at the end of the workshop.
Workshop language: English

Every participant should bring his/her own equipment such as:
- HD / SD-Card Recorder...or iPhone
 - Laptop / Computer with Audiosoftware such as Logic, ProTools, Ableton
Live etc...or Hardware-Sampler / Grooveboxes
 - earphones
 - optional external effects such as delays, kaoss pads etc...

Artists with previous experience in electronic music production willing to
cooperate with other artists from SEE.

The selection of the participants will be made by Schneider TM.
The costs will be covered by the Goethe-Institute. Selected participants
will receive further details.
