ENTRY RULES AND REGULATIONS
Entries are invited to take part in competition in all formats of film,
video and digital in the following categories - feature, short and the ART
Television Film Festival (Fiction, Animation, Documentary and
Experimental).  By entering a short film in the TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FILM
FESTIVAL, the filmmaker gives permission for their short work to be
screened in the festival theatrically as well as on the NTV Television
During a limited run as part of TIFF.

CONDITIONS
Films in competition must have been completed after September 2011. 
Feature films may not be shorter than seventy (70) minutes in length. 
Short films may not exceed thirty (30) minutes in length. A completed and
signed entry form must be accompanied by an English language dialogue
list.  All entries, short or feature length, must be submitted on DVD for
the purposes of preview.  All non-English language films must be submitted
with English subtitles.  To qualify for selection, all non-English
language films must have an English language print/tape available.  All
films must be available for festival screening in the 35mm, Betacam SP
(Pal only), Mini-DV or DVD.  A separate entry form must be submitted for
each film.  Illegible or incomplete entry forms will not be accepted.
There is no entry fee.  Entries must be submitted by September 30, 2012.

NOTIFICATION/SHIPPING
All participants will be notified via e-mail and on the TIFF website
approximately four weeks before the festival. Shipping instructions for
films selected for competition will be included upon notification.  The
festival will pay for one-way shipping of all prints/tapes by forwarding
them to their next destination approximately four weeks after the
conclusion of the festival.  All prints/tapes chosen to compete in the
festival must arrive in Tirana, Albania by November 15, 2012 unless by
prior arrangement to be delivered in person by the filmmaker.
Label the outside of the package: FOR FESTIVAL ONLY - NO COMMERCIAL VALUE

Do NOT courier tapes to Albania via EMS or other similar couriers, as you
may be liable for duties which the festival will not pay.  If this is done
by the filmmaker, TIFF will return the tape/film at the cost to the
filmmaker.  Preview tapes/discs will not be returned.

INSURANCE
All prints will be insured for the period that they are in the festival´s
possession.  In the case of loss or damage during this period, the
festival is only responsible for the replacement value of the print.  Only
prints in perfect condition for projection will be accepted.
