Call for films for the 17th edition

REGULATIONS

Festival on Wheels is organized by the Ankara Cinema Association under the
patronage of the Turkish Ministry of Culture. The Festival aims to
introduce a distinguished selection of films to the Turkish audience and
to cultivate an ardent desire for a nation-wide distribution.

PROGRAMME

The programme consists of following sections:

World Cinema
Retrospectives
Short Films (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental)

RULES

Films produced in 2011 - 2012 are eligible (exception: Retrospectives).
Films of 30 minutes or less are eligible for the short film section.
Applications to the Festival must be made by the official Entry Form.
The publicity material should be forwarded before 1 September 2012.
The deadline to withdraw films is 1 September 2012.

PUBLICITY MATERIAL

The following publicity material should be submitted to the Festival
Secretariat not later than 1 September 2012.

- Completed entry form
- Credits of the film
- Synopsis in English
- Complete dialogue list / subtitle list in English
- A DVD copy of the film with English subtitles
- Detailed bio-filmography of the director and the cast.
- Stills from the film (colour and black & white)
- Recent photo of the director
- Posters, brochures, press books, press reviews

SELECTION

The films submitted to the Festival will be previewed by the Selection
Committee. The results will be announced to the submitters before 15
September 2012.

TRANSPORTATION

The transportation cost of the prints will be covered by the Festival.
Submitters will be informed about transportation after 1 October 2012.

INSURANCE

The Festival undertakes the responsibility of insuring the prints selected
by the Festival from the moment they are collected, to the moment they are
received by the forwarding agent.
