European Cultural Foundation - ECF
Collaboration grants

for independent cultural and artistic organisations
http://www.culturalfoundation.eu/grants/collaborat

Collaboration Grants are awarded to cultural organisations working
together across different countries of wider Europe. The next call will
be opened on 1 February 2013 with a deadline on 25 March 2013.
Collaboration grants fund transnational activities carried out by
independent cultural organisations in partnership with various types of
organisations both within the cultural sector and beyond.

Collaboration Grants are awarded to cultural organisations working
together across different countries of wider Europe (the 47 countries of
the Council of Europe plus Kosovo) and/or with Algeria, Egypt, Israel,
Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria and
Tunisia, on multidisciplinary artistic projects. At least one partner
applicant must work in a sector outside the cultural field.

ECF regards the ideal ‘collaboration’ as one that brings a renewed
understanding of Europe to people of all backgrounds, and inspires them to
regard the world’s future as a shared enterprise. The average award funded
is €15,000 with the maximum being €30,000.

The lead applicant/cultural organisation must be based in one of the
following European countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria,
Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia (FYROM), Malta, Moldova,
Monaco, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania,
Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Partnering applicants can be based in one of the above-mentioned European
countries and/or in one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt,
Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria
and Tunisia. (We encourage cooperation with this region, as long as the
content of the project clearly relates to European cross-border
cooperation.)

On 1 February 2013 the next call for collaboration grants will be opened.
As of second half of January 2013 you will be able to access the updated
guidelines on this webpage. Please note that for our 2013 Collaboration
Grants call we will be specifically looking for cross-sectoral
collaborations involving local communities, with projects that contribute
to the ongoing debate on Europe and Europe’s place in the world.

The deadline to submit your applications is 25 March 2013 at 9:00 am (C.E.T.)
