http://www.rewiry.lublin.pl/#tag=aktualno%u015Bci&ver=2013

Shoot a short film and win 4000 pln!

In the framework of the third edition of the project “Art on the market”
the Studio of Socially Engaged Art “Rewiry” is holding a competition for a
short film which subject shall be the theme slogan “Market stories”.

The competition's idea was born out of observation of the changing reality
around us. We are living in the times in which petty trade is gradually
being driven out of business by emerging on a large-scale shopping
centres. Climatic market places and bazaars are being pushed more and more
on the commercial margin or simply closed down. Ever more often the
consumer is forced to use the services of supermarkets belonging to
international corporations oriented solely on multiplying their capital.
It becomes increasingly difficult to buy healthy food coming directly from
farmers, whose situation seems to be deteriorating year by year. The
competition “Market stories” is an attempt to bring attention to these
issues. An integral element of the competition will be presentations of
the selected competition entries in the space of the real market places of
Lublin as well as in the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
The prize pool of the competition is 7000 pln. The competition is designed
for persons of at least 18 years of age and is full and open. Detailed
information can be found in the Rules and regulations.
