ASFF 2014: One Week Left To Enter

I hope you’re well.

 

I’m writing from the Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF), one of the
largest and most exciting short film festivals in the UK, to announce that
there is one week to go for submissions (deadline 2 June).

 

ASFF presents a fantastic opportunity for filmmakers amongst your network at
Alt Film to showcase their short films to new audiences and engage with
leading industry professionals.

There is one week to go to enter ASFF 2014, one of the largest and most
exciting short film festivals in the UK. ASFF offers both emerging and
established filmmakers the opportunity to engage with new, international
audiences and interact with some of the biggest personalities in the film
industry today.

 

Prizes include screenings at ASFF; £750 Festival Winner; £250 People’s
Choice Award; Best Category Awards; screenings at a number of other major UK
festivals; editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine and on the ASFF blog.
The time limit is 30 minutes and categories for entry are: Advertising,
Animation, Artists’ Film, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fashion,
Music Video and Thriller.

 

ASFF 2014 takes place in 15 unique and iconic locations across the city of
York spanning medieval halls, contemporary art spaces and cinemas during the
weekend of 6 – 9 November. Alongside screenings, there will be a dynamic
series of industry-led masterclasses, hosted networking sessions, panel
discussions and parties presenting opportunities to engage with
representatives from leading film organisations such as BAFTA, Film 4, Warp
Films, Raindance, Film London, Sheffield Doc/Fest and more.
