Dear Oberlist follower,

*Easttopics* aims at mapping and providing more visibility to protagonists
of the Eastern European art life, should they be artists, art
professionals, institutions, events or publications. It also wishes to act
as a dynamic platform fostering connections, exchanges, community building,
and cooperation for both practice-based and research-based projects on a
local, regional, and international level.

This cross-border project takes form as an expanding on-line website and
database focusing on the following countries: *Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary,
Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania,
Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.*

Thought and conceived as a semi-annual online publication project,
Easttopics is now launching its first *Residency program booklet *for the
2018 Autumn/Winter season, picking and gathering actual calls and programs
with the intention to increase impact. The booklet is available online here.

Easttopics is also accepting call, residency and program announcements for
the upcoming 2019 Spring/Summer season. Information and material can be
sent until January 15, 2019. The online publication date for the next
booklet is scheduled for February 15, 2019.
