[oberlist] Call for Participants // WAVE: Workshops on Activism and Visuality in Europe

Hello,

The Fresh Eye platform for visual culture studies in collaboration with
visual critic and activist Nicholas Mirzoeff calls for participation in a
two-day online program on the phenomena, principles and strategies of
contemporary visual activism.

We would be delighted if you consider your application and
share information about the program with your colleagues. WAVE: Workshops
on Activism and Visuality in Europe
<https://www.facebook.com/events/391545712533233> will be held online on
November 19 and 20, 2021 and will present an intensive program including
workshops, hosted discussions and sharing examples of good practice. Online
meetings will be for example led by political activist Houria Bouteldja,
race sociologist Alan Lentin and visual artist Bahar Behbahani.

There will be 15 participants from the region of Central and Eastern Europe
selected to take part in the program. The program is open to
representatives of the cultural, artistic, non-profit and educational
sectors and is free.

The submission deadline <http://fresh-eye.org/wave-call-for-participants/> is
October 15, 2021.
