Turku (Finland), the European Capital of Culture for 2011, is on the
search for project proposals.
Turku has been chosen as the European Capital of Culture for 2011. We have
announced an open project call and are now on the lookout for innovative
and open-minded projects, and the best parties to implement them, thereby
creating a top rate programme for the Capital of Culture 2011!

THE OPEN PROJECT CALL FOR THE CAPITAL OF CULTURE PROGRAMME IS ON!

Turku’s Capital of Culture year will be implemented through extensive
national and international co-operation.

The Turku 2011 programme will be comprised of approximately 300 projects,
with the aim that most will be found through the open call. Proposals for
Turku 2011 projects should be submitted by 31 May 2008 using the
electronic form http://www.turku2011.fi/public/?sid=11&lang=en
