Supliment Oberliht in #16SdU (August 2009)
GHID DE CONSTRUIRE A ORASELOR: 7 ZILE DE PLIMBARI SI CONSTRUIRE A  
ORASELOR IMAGINARE

In iulie 2009, sub forma unei colaborari intre Tonka MALEKOVIC  
(Croatia) si Ion FISTICANU (Moldova) si drept parte a programului de  
resedinte artistice din CHIOSC, a fost conceputa lucrarea  
POSIBILITATEA ORASULUI.
Sub influenta lucrarilor lui Ion FISTICANU (Orase pe acoperisul casei  
mele), Tonka MALEKOVIC a incercat sa conecteze ideea lui cu  
preocuparile sale proprii privind dezvoltarea unei relatii cu spatiul  
public prin intermediul jocului, imaginatiei si improvizatiei, intr-o  
participare directa. Astfel, ea i-a propus lui Ion o colaborare,  
largind cadrul initial al lucrarii, atribuindu-i un concept mai  
general si invitind mai multa lume sa se alature. Ideea era simpla –  
sa te plimbi, sa observi, sa te joci, sa construiesti constelatii  
improvizate reprezentind orase, folosind materiale gasite la fata  
locului, in diverse locatii ale Chisinaului.
Drept rezultat al colaborarii a fost realizat GHIDUL DE CONSTRUIRE A  
ORASELOR, care ofera instructiuni pentru initierea unor orase oricind  
si oriunde.

Ghidul a fost publicat in Suplimentul Oberliht (august 2009),  
distribuit impreuna cu revista SdU.

Incepind cu decembrie 2007 Asociatia Oberliht editeaza suplimentul  
Oberliht, un spatiu de 4 pagini A3 dedicat artei si culturii  
contemporane din Moldova, care apare impreuna cu revista SdU (stare de  
urgenta): http://www.oberliht.org.md/stare_de_urgenta.html
Suplimentele Oberliht pot fi descarcate si in format PDF la adresa de  
mai sus.

BUILDING CITIES GUIDE: 7 DAYS OF WALKING & BUILDING IMAGINARY CITIES

Within the CHIOSC artist in residence program, in July 2009,  
POSSIBILITY OF THE CITY project was conceived as an artistic  
collaboration between Tonka MALEKOVIC (Croatia) and Ion FISTICANU  
(Moldova).
Influenced by the artwork of Ion FISTICANU (“Cities on the roof of my  
house”), Tonka MALEKOVIĆ connected his idea with her own  
preoccupations about how to develop relationship with the public space  
through the play, imagination and improvisation, in direct  
participation. Therefore, she proposed Ion collaboration, expanding  
the frame of the original work by positioning it within the wider  
concept and inviting more people to join in. The idea was simple: to  
walk, to observe, to play, to construct improvised constellations  
representing cities, using the materials found on the spot, on various  
locations all over the city of Chisinau.
The result of this collaboration is BUILDING CITIES GUIDE with the  
instructions for building cities that everyone can initiate anytime  
and anywhere.

It is published in Oberliht supplement (August 2009), and is  
distributed in the SoE magazine.

Starting with December 2007 Oberliht Association edits the Oberliht  
supplement, a space of 4 pages A3 dedicated to contemporary art and  
culture from Moldova. It is released together with the SoE magazine: http://www.oberliht.org.md/stare_de_urgenta.html
The Oberliht supplement can be downloaded in PDF format from the above
