[Oberlist] Call for application art festivals, Kirschau, Germany

obART – the art label at the Saxon Oberland will host the international
art festivals - grenzART 1 - the Performance Art Festival and 
obPHON´10 - the Audio Art Days in 2010.

- grenzART 1 - the Performance Art Festival:
>From May, 22nd to 24th, 2010, the international Performance Art Festival
– grenzART 1 – will take place for the first time in Kirschau.
As an international art label obART therefore invites artists from the
areas of video-, light-, action-, interventional-, installation-, and
movement performance to artistically occupy the empty rooms, halls and
open spaces of the industrial village of Kirschau to open them to new
mind games.

At the Oberland Performance Art Festival – grenzART 1 - performance art
in all its facettes receives space to unfold and show a cross-genre
spectrum of the contemporary performance scene.
The artists invited are invoked to make spatial intersections, borders
and their interspaces the contentual focus of their work.
A one week artist camp in May offers the possibility to work on
location.
All artists that want to take part in the Performance Art Festival -
grenzART 1 – can apply with their works or a short abstract.

Deadline for applications is February 28th, 2010

obPHON´10 – the Audio Art Days in the Oberland:

>From July 1st to 11th, 2010 the art label obART will host the
international Audio Art Days obPHON´10 in Kirschau / Saxony.
With this festival obART creates a podium for the broad spectrum of
acoustic art forms.
Therefore obART cordially invites artists to take part in this festival
with their sound- and noise installations, audio performances,
radioplays as well as multimedial works with a focus on the
auditive aspect.

The artists shall actively infiltrate public space and thereby
artistically revive temporarily empty
buildings, industrial areas and prominent places in the municipality of
Kirschau.

A village shall become sound space

A one week artist camp in June offers the possibility to work on
location.

All artists that want to take part in the Audio Art Days obPHON´10 can
apply with their works or a short abstract.

Deadline for applications is March 31st, 2010
